O=MEGA19 announces Window Dressing Award for optical retailers
With O=MEGA19 taking place from 19-21 July 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, ODMA and Optometry Victoria have joined forces to create an unrivalled program of clinical lectures and workshops as well as non-clinical masterclasses and a trade fair showcasing more than 100 exhibitors.
New to OMEGA19 is the Window Dressing Competition open to all optical retailers with street frontages.
To enter, businesses simply need to upload a photo of their window display to @odmaeyewear on Instagram using the hashtag #OMEGA19 and clearly identify the business. Additionally, they need to email the photo to email@example.com. Entries close 10 July 2019.
The benefits for participating optometry businesses will include attracting customers to their shop, improving retail skills, and also, having a bit of fun.
The window displays will be judged on a range of criteria, including: overall impression and visual impact; creativity and innovation; styling communicates a theme and clever use of retailers’ products; effort and business collaboration; and street impact.
All entries will be displayed at the Window Dressing Area at O=MEGA19. The top three window displays will be identified and the winners will be announced at the awards presentation at O=MEGA19 on 19 July 2019.
