Luke Chong is a Lecturer in Optometry and Vision Science at Deakin University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry at The University of Melbourne in 2009, where he later earned his PhD in 2015. Luke then moved to the University of California Berkeley for a Postdoctoral Fellowship prior to joining Deakin University as a Lecturer, where he is also involved in research as a member of the Advanced Perimetry Team at Carl Zeiss Meditec. His research interests include clinical psychophysics, developing a better understanding of normal visual processing and damage due to disease, and to develop better clinical tests for the assessment of visual function.
